The short version:
Mostly here to show my appreciation of other's deviations: photos, 3DCG and hand-drawn art, you name it.
The long version:
How I would categorize myself as a, so-called, (deviant) artist...
Well, sometimes I am just in the mood to combine mixed media, e.g. webcam clips, magazines and photos, to create something fresh, unique and maybe a bit psychedelic (typically, motion-GIFs). :dunnosmiley:
The root of my desire to create such deviations would likely be one of my fave digital hobbies
...to turn scratchy and greased physical photos and magazine pages (mainly erotic vintage ones!) into high-quality digital restorations that will never get scratched nor greased again, while trying to stay true to the original source material. This, sometimes, results in a desire to also turn some of this material into a "deviation". I like to think those deviations are a psychedelic afterburner of my scanning hobby. :thinkingsmiley:
Once upon a time I actually wanted to be a sketch artist/cartoonist. According to family and friends, I showed *some* talent for it during my childhood and teen years. Somehow, life just..."whatever-ed" me in another direction. :speculatingsmiley:
Maybe, some day I might just find my way back to the drawing table, who knows :dunnosmiley:
Most of all: I want to show you my "fire"
deviantART reminds me of this "fire"...
A fire, life sometimes makes me forget.
A fire, to create (my own "art").
A fire, to show appreciation (of your art).
A fire, to be a part of and take part in this place (this digital playground of deviant wonder).
A fire, to show a part of me...myself, my "afterburner", to you.
A fire, to discover your fire.
A fire, to...*STOP* myself writing myself into a lazy state, so I will never get on with up'ing my deviations...and produce more (maybe)...and browsing this website (more likely)... -_-
